I have been thinking all night how to incorporate a blog into my freshman class. This class is usually around 100 students. It would be easy to tell them to do it but it will be a lot of work to keep up with or spot check 100 blogs for a whole semester. I will also need to develop a rubric for the assignment. This would be like a lab diary for students to use as a learning tool. I was also thinking of incorporating a wiki into the freshmen course. I don't know. I will see how it flows for this course. I will keep brainstorming and see what I can come up with. I am sure we will learn some tricks of the trade in class to make things easier.
